The Story Behind LE19

If you asked me where my story with art began, I wouldn't tell you it started with LE19.

I'd tell you about being a little girl, walking through galleries with my mom.

She would spend hours choosing paintings for our family home. She had an eye for timeless beauty—classical pieces that carried elegance, history, and emotion. I didn't know it then, but those weekends quietly shaped the way I see the world. Many of those paintings are still hanging in my parents' house today, reminding me where it all began.

My mom taught me to appreciate the classics.

Life taught me to question them.

Because while I admired Renaissance paintings and traditional art, I was never the kid who fit inside the lines. I was curious, loud, a little rebellious, and always drawn to things that made people stop, laugh, or ask, "Why?"

As I grew older, I realized I didn't have to choose between those two worlds.

I could merge them.

That's exactly what LE19 is.

A place where classical art collides with humor. Where timeless portraits get unexpected twists. Where elegance meets sarcasm. Where beautiful pieces don't just decorate a wall—they start conversations.

Art shouldn't always be serious.

Sometimes it should make you smile.

Sometimes it should make you uncomfortable.

Sometimes it should make your guests look twice.

I've been surrounded by design for as long as I can remember. At fifteen, I joined our family's interior design business, learning that a house isn't built by furniture alone—it's built by the personality of the people who live in it.

Later, I studied Advertising and Marketing, fascinated by why people connect with certain brands, images, and stories. That curiosity eventually led me to Dubai, where I spent four years as Marketing & Product Development Manager at Montroi. Working alongside talented people from around the world challenged me, refined my creativity, and taught me that great design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about emotion, purpose, and storytelling.

When I returned to Lebanon, I came back with a different perspective.

I wanted to create something that reflected who I am.

That's why LE19 exists.

I noticed that people wanted to make their homes feel personal, but original artwork often felt inaccessible. Beautiful pieces were either out of reach or lacked personality.

I wanted to change that.

Every artwork you see at LE19 is imagined, designed, and created by me. Every concept begins with a story, an emotion, a joke, a memory, or a contradiction that refuses to leave my mind until I bring it to life.

Because I don't believe walls should be empty.

I believe they should say something about the people living between them.

LE19 isn't just about selling art.

It's about giving people permission to express themselves.

To mix elegance with humor.

Luxury with personality.

Classics with rebellion.

Just like I've been doing my whole life.
